Plex Online Deployment at Inteva Products Wins Top Award in Germany

Plex Systems, provider of Plex Online, Cloud ERP for manufacturers, announces its deployment at Inteva Products facilities in Germany has won the “Best in Cloud” award presented by COMPUTERWOCHE, a leading German computing magazine published by IDG Business Media.

TROY, Mich., December 4, 2012 – Plex Systems Inc., provider of Plex Online, Cloud ERP for manufacturers, today announced that its deployment at Inteva Products facilities in Germany has won the “Best in Cloud” award presented by COMPUTERWOCHE, a leading German computing magazine published by IDG Business Media. This award was presented in Munich recently.

The jury, consisting of industry analysts and enterprise resource planning (ERP) consultants, selected Plex Online as the winner in the category “Software as a Service – Private Cloud” for its extensive and successful implementation at Inteva Products LLC, a leading global supplier of automotive products. Inteva Products has more than 9,000 employees in 18 countries.

Restructuring the complete IT infrastructure, Inteva Products implemented Plex Online between September 2008 and July 2009, with more than 1,200 users at 14 different locations. Overview of the results:

• Speedy implementation – The company smoothly managed the major transition of 14 sites to the new system in 12 months, an aggressive timeline rarely achieved.
• Operational impacts – The company improved inventory management, streamlined purchase orders, improved its supply chain visibility, automated its tool tracking and more.
• Financial and resource impacts – The company exceeded its original financial goals, reducing IT costs significantly.
