About the Author
Barrie Vince is a Software Architect and one of the original developers of the Plex Manufacturing Cloud. Since joining Plex in October 1999, he has played a key role in the development of many of the Plex modules including part, inventory, tooling, VisionPlex, and most recently the refresh of the Plex user interface. Currently, he is leading the research and development of the organization's wearables initiative. Vince is a 2007 recipient of the Automotive Industry Action Group's Outstanding Achievement award and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science from Oakland University.
