Plex Systems, Inc., provider of the No. 1 rated ERP software for manufacturers, today announced that John Billings, business development managing director, will speak on behalf of the company at a workshop and roundtable at the upcoming Medical Device Summit in Boston.
This first-time event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Boston from March 1 through 3. It will focus on providing medical device manufacturers with everything they need to know to "Accelerate Time to Market, Reduce Cost and Improve Profit Margins."
Billings will host a workshop entitled "How to Achieve 100 percent Traceability and Process Visibility and More Easily Meet Compliance Requirements," at 4:30 p.m. on March 1 and he will co-present a roundtable, "How to Gather and Access Real-Time Information to Drive Traceability and Profitability," at 5:45 p.m. on March 2. Presenting with Billings at the roundtable will be Jason Howey, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Okay Industries, a Plex Online medical device contract manufacturing customer. Howey will discuss how his company has used the system to get to obtain complete visibility, greater productivity and other benefits.
Medical device manufacturers rely on Plex Online to comply with regulations related to product traceability. The system provides comprehensive supply chain management, electronic document management, and precise production tracking and visibility -- from receipt through processing, packaging, and shipping, to the exact customer location. World-class medical device manufacturers, like OKAY Industries, use Plex Online to optimize the performance of their entire enterprise.
"We look forward to participating in this event to share our knowledge and demonstrate to the medical device manufacturing community the benefits of Plex Online," stated Plex Systems Vice President Patrick Fetterman. "Attendees of our workshop and roundtable will walk away from this summit with real-world knowledge of how to meet their needs for documentation and information access without intensive manual processes while improving, rather than slowing, their productivity."
