AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 28, 2012 – Plex Systems Inc., provider of Plex Online, Cloud ERP for manufacturers, today announced the promotions of Chris Bishop to vice president of global services and support and Jason Prater to vice president of development. Previously, Bishop was the director of customer care and Prater was the director of development at Plex Systems. In his new role, Bishop is responsible for worldwide professional services, education and customer support operations. Prior to joining Plex Systems, Bishop served in a variety of senior leadership roles including vice president of PeopleSoft’s North American supply chain consulting organization. Bishop holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in materials and logistics management from Michigan State University. As the Vice President of Development, Prater is responsible for strategizing the design, development, support and implementation of Plex Online, Cloud ERP. Prater, who joined Plex Systems in 1998, has a focus on operational performance from his time as a materials manager at an automotive supplier and Plex Online customer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science from Albion College. “We are happy to be able to promote from within for these strategic leadership roles,” said Mark Symonds, Plex Systems President and CEO. “Both Chris and Jason have an extensive background and knowledge of Plex Online and its value to our customers.
