TROY, MICH., March 8, 2016– Plex Systems, the leader in cloud ERP for manufacturing, today announced the appointments of Elisa Lee as chief legal officer, general counsel and corporate secretary, and Todd Weeks as vice president, cloud operations. Both Elisa and Todd will serve as members of Plex’s executive leadership team.
Elisa Lee Joins as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
As chief legal officer, Elisa Lee oversees all legal, intellectual property, corporate governance and compliance operations for Plex.
She brings Plex a background that includes leadership roles in cloud software and manufacturing organizations, as well as extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate and securities law. Most recently she served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at SaaS mortgage solutions provider Ellie Mae, and prior to that as senior counsel roles at The Cooper Companies and its medical device manufacturing subsidiary, CooperVision. She started her career as a corporate lawyer specializing in capital markets and company representation at Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the largest global law firms.
Elisa holds a juris doctor degree from New York University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Todd Weeks Joins as VP of Cloud Operations
As vice president, cloud operations, Todd Weeks is responsible for architecture and deployment of Plex infrastructure to support customers’ global operations.
Todd brings extensive experience in architecting and managing large-scale, global technology platforms. He joins Plex from Sears Holdings Corp., where he was responsible for the operation of multiple data center facilities, infrastructure and platforms supporting all of Sears online properties. This included Sears’ online marketplace, which contains more than 200 million products.
Prior to Sears, Todd held the dual role of global head of enterprise platform services and global head of hosting, client computing, security, and networking at Novartis. He also served at Microsoft for more than 10 years, most recently as senior director of cloud engineering solutions.
Todd holds a bachelor‘s degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Washington. He is a graduate of the Microsoft Business and Organizational Leadership Program at the Wharton School.
